Michael, a Manager of Aragon Ventures, is also President & CEO of eLingo, the leading internet provider of real-time language translation solutions. Over a ten-year period, he has served in various demanding roles:

President and CEO at Telebit Corporation - acquired by Cisco Systems in 1996 - following the acquisition Michael ran Cisco's Dial-up Technology Division.
CEO at UUNET Technologies, during its early-stage internet period.
Technical development for Packet Technologies (offering two-way interactive cable television services).

In addition to directing and advising high tech companies, he supervises a premium winery operation located in Saratoga, California. Mr. Ballard holds a B.F.A. degree from the University of Utah, Salt Lake City.
